Get Walking Lanarkshire
Get Walking Lanarkshire is a project which runs a timetable of weekly health walks across North and South Lanarkshire. Charity on the Hunt For Health Walk Volunteers.
The volunteers involved in the project support group walkers – welcoming them to the group and helping them find their way; providing route information; encouraging social activity within the groups; and dealing with the occasional bit of paperwork. Charity on the Hunt For Health Walk Volunteers.
Volunteers don’t need any previous experience, just a friendly nature and availability on a regular basis. Free training is provided. For more information visit the Get Walking Lanarkshire website or follow them on Facebook or Twitter. (subject to Covid restrictions).
