The discount supermarket chain is looking to add more team members to its regional distribution centres across the UK. These positions range from warehouse selectors and logistics assistants to lorry drivers.
Currently, it employs 36,000 people at its 920 stores nationwide.
To further boost its profile, Aldi is attempting to ease the cost of living for families by reducing prices on 30 household grocery staples. This includes fresh produce, butter, canned foods and personal hygiene products. In addition, it is experimenting with quieter shopping hours at certain stores. These changes will involve stopping tannoy announcements and using quieter till scan sounds. This is in response to rising customer demand for a more sensory-friendly shopping experience.
2. Caretaker
The UK’s fifth largest supermarket chain is looking to fill various positions at its stores in the region. This includes stock assistants and caretakers who can earn up to PS33,815 per year.
The company also has higher level roles that can earn up to PS61,400. These include assistant store manager and deputy store managers.
Interested candidates can start by applying online. The application will ask what hours they are available to work and test key skills such as mental arithmetic.
